Cecilia Di Nardo: “It was really important for us, to get this confidence further on in the tournament”

Today, Denmark plays a crucial playoff game against Slovakia, after yesterday having won its last group stage game against Estonia.

We shortly spoke with Denmark’s captain Cecilia Di Nardo:

How was the game against Estonia?

“I think we did a pretty good job, It was a great team effort, and we had some key players, who finally had success on making goals. It was really important for us, to get this confidence further on in the tournament.”

What will be your focus points in the game against Slovakia?

“Our main focus tomorrow will be hard work in our defense, and be effective on the opportunities we create in the offense.”

The game against Slovakia will start at 16:00 CET.
