Finland – Czech Republic 5-4 (ot)

Finland has won the bronze after a very close battle against the Czech Republic, which was decided in overtime when Veera Kauppi – who was back from her illness – found the net. Sweden – Switzerland 3-2 (ot)

What a final this was! Switzerland took the lead – it was the first time Sweden had to play being behind! – and the crowd went wild. However, during the game, the Swedes created more and more chances and they turned around the score to a 2-1 lead. At 59:52, Corin Rüttimann monetized a 6-vs-5 as Switzerland has taken out its goalkeeper again (just like yesterday), which brought the game into overtime. Who else than Anna Wijk gave the assist to Johanna Hultgren’s overtime decider that brought Sweden the gold – again!
