EuroFloorball Challenge: the Dutch teams started off strong

On Wednesday, the EuroFloorball Challenge (EFCh) started for both men and women. Halfway the tournament, the two Dutch teams might have become the teams to beat.

Men

The men play in a group of five teams. UFC Utrecht has won both of their games, one against the strong FBC Lemberg. Today, they meet the Spanish CUF Leganes, who also won their first two games. This game, starting at 18.00h CET, might become a decisive one.

Women

The women play in a small group, with only three teams. The teams face each other twice before the top 2 moves on to the final game on Saturday. Lyon FC turned out to be the weakest team in the group, making it look like UFC Utrecht and Komarom will make it to the final. The results betweens these teams have been in Utrecht’s favor: 4-4 and 4-7.

The tournaments continue until Saturday (women) and Sunday (men).
