FloorballToday goes into standby mode

FloorballToday has long been the place where you could find your floorball news, but now, we mode into standby mode.

In January of this year the Covid-19 crisis started and since then we have written fewer articles. This was because a lot of leagues were paused, but also due to private circumstances.

We have now thought about what we want to do with FloorballToday. For five years this has been a big project, but one that ran 99% on a voluntary basis. Unfortunately, this is not sustainable in the long term. We have decided to go into standby mode now, which practically means that we will publish hardly any articles and/or podcasts until November/December 2021.

The WFC for the ladies will start in November, followed by the WFC for the men in December. By then, we want to see if we can restart, temporarily or otherwise, to contribute to the visibility of the biggest floorball events in the world.

Our Patreon page will remain, so if you still want to support us, you can. The revenues will be used for the hosting of the website and to (partly) cover the costs of the WFC.

Thanks for your support over the years! Take care!

Fact: in 2011, the record for the hardest ice hockey shot was broken: Denis Kulyash (Russia) managed to shoot with a speed of […]
