Swiss NLA Playoffs are starting (Schedule + Stream Links)

It’s that time of the year again. The highlight of the season: the playoffs!

The quarterfinals are already very interesting and feature the top 8 teams from the NLA. The playoffs will start today (Friday 28 February) and are played in a Best-Of-7 format.

The good news is that most of the games can be watched for free so tune in and enjoy a top floorball match whenever one is played.

You can find the streams on swissunihockey.tv.

Then there also some games being played on Swiss national television. More cameras, better replays, and more intense. These games are broadcasted (as far as we know on Saturday) on SRF2, the second public TV channel of Switzerland. You can check their schedule here (floorball is called unihockey in Switzerland for those who wondered :-)). They also have an overview of the results which you can find here (with a camera icon for games they broadcast)

They can be watched for free but require a VPN if you are outside of Switzerland. We recommend PureVPN and you can subscribe here. Package starts from around €3 a month with a yearly subscription. This is an affiliate link which will help FloorballToday and doesn’t cost you anything extra.

When executed well, the slapshot is the fastest shot in floorball. Where do the speed and power come from? That’s what I’m gonna dive into today, helped by ice hockey and… physics! Fact: in 2011, the record for the hardest ice hockey shot was broken: Denis Kulyash (Russia) managed to shoot with a speed of […]
