Plot twist: David Gillek joins 3rd club in 1 month time

A while ago we reported that Mullsjö legend David Gillek surprised the floorball world. When his role as assistant trainer with Mullsjö was terminated mid-season, Gillek surprised friend and foe when his name was listed as a player for rivals Växjö

Now it turns out Gillek’s revival as a player was very short-lived. After two matches he realized he wasn’t satisfied as a player and wanted to return to trainership, according to Jönköpings Posten.

On Tuesday SSL club Linköping announced in a press release that Gillek will be the assistant coach next to head coach Johan Astbrant with a contract until the end of the season. His role will be mainly concerning the offensive play of the team that hasn’t started the SSL very well with a 10th place.
