U19 Men’s WFC 2025 (29.04. – 04.05), Zurich, Switzerland.
The U19 Men’s World Championships will feature the top young talent from across the globe. Held every two years, this tournament has become a key showcase for the next generation of floorball stars.
This year’s competition will see traditional powerhouses like Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic, and Switzerland battling it out for the title. Sweden, the reigning champions, are looking strong again, with a roster filled with players already shining in their domestic leagues.
Several teams had to fight hard through the qualifiers. For example, Germany and Slovakia secured their spots through intense playoff matches, showing how the competition outside the top four nations is heating up. Watch out for Latvia too — they have been investing heavily in youth development and could spring a surprise.

Golden shot from team Finland at last 3×3 WFC!
Meanwhile, the 3×3 format — a faster, more dynamic version of traditional floorball — continues to grow. Shorter matches, smaller teams, and fewer rules make for breathtaking, non-stop action.
The men’s and women’s 3×3 tournaments are particularly exciting this year as new nations are stepping up. Teams like Thailand and Australia have shown rapid improvement, especially in the women’s game, where upsets are becoming more common. And we want to congratulate Kenya for advancing to WFC 3×3 for the first time ever! It’s indeed really amazing to see our sport being developed in the world even more and more!

Team Latvia as first winners of 3×3!
Sweden and Czech Republic are favorites in both categories, but keep an eye on Singapore and Canada, who are bringing highly skilled, creative squads that could cause trouble for the traditional giants. And, of course, let’s not forget about the reigning champions – Finland in Women’s category and Latvia in Men’s category. And what do you think – will these countries defend their title?
Interesting Fact: The 3×3 format was initially tested at local tournaments to attract younger players and audiences. Now it’s becoming a serious, standalone world championship event!
