WFC 2018 Recap Day 5 – All quarterfinals decided

The fifth day of WFC 2018 is over, with all playoffs for the quarterfinals having been played. Here’s the recap of today!
LAT – SVK 6-1 (Read)
Latvia moves on to the quarterfinals, in which they will meet a very strong opponent: Sweden. This game will be played on Friday. Slovakia faces Australia in the games for 9-12th place.
DEN – EST 3-2 (Read)
Denmark made it to QF1, in which the Czech Republic will be its opponent! The game will be played on Thursday. Estonia will continue its WFC path on Thursday against Canada, in the hunt for 9-12th spot.
NOR – AUS 10-0 (Read)
Norway beat Australia and is now through to the quarterfinals, in which Switzerland will be its opponent. Australia will fight for 9-12th spot, starting with a game against Slovakia.
GER – CAN 7-2 (Read)
By winning this game, Germany has qualified for the quarterfinals. The team gets one day of rest as they face Finland on Friday. Canada plays against Estonia, trying to take 9th place in the final ranking.
