Peter Kotilainen, superstar of the WFC 2016 and silver-medal winner with Happee last season, leaves his club. It’s unclear where he’ll be playing next season.
On Instagram, Kotilainen wrote: “This community will always be the biggest thing in my life. My game in Finland and at Happee ends here – but for a while.”
Kotilainen is one of Finland’s most well-known players, due to his perfect WFC 2016 in which he became world champion with Finland and MVP of the tournament. Last Saturday, he lost the playoff Superfinal against Classic. He didn’t make it to the end of that game due to an injury.
It’s not been announced where Peter Kotilainen will play next season, although it seems he’ll go abroad. Various Swedish clubs seem to be interested in signing him, so more is yet to come.
