In the 5th and final semifinal between Falun and Linköping, the reigning champions secured their return ticket to the Globe Arena and the SSL finals on April 21st after completely steamrolling their opponent, taking the win 12-2.

WATCH: Highlights from the game!

Just like in 2 out of 4 games of the series, Galante was involved in the first goal of the game as he assisted Jonas Adriansson after 3 minutes. Falun, who dictated the tempo of the game and stood for most of the chances, found themselves in a 4-0 lead after the first period.

The dominance was taken to another level after the break, with even more ball possession from the home team and another 5 goals in their favor. A disastrous Linköping only had 3 shots on target, none of which that resulted in a goal.

Despite having the near-impossible task of getting back from a 9-0 disadvantage against Falun going into the final period, Linköping showed great fighting spirit and opened with 2 quick goals by Martin Karlsson after the break. But closer than that Falun wouldn’t let them come, and replied with another 3 goals to the standing ovation of the home crowd.
