The World Games 2017 is starting in just a couple of days. FloorballToday gives a brief overview of every team.
27 July – Finland – Czech Republic
27 July – Poland – Finland
How far will Finland go?
Team Finland is arguably the favorite for the title with the young and talented players who coach Petteri Nykky selected. The team will most likely move on to the semifinals. The most important group match will be against the Czech Republic, a team they narrowly beat in the WFC2016 playoffs. Despite a run-over victory (8-1) against the team during the most recent Euro Floorball Tour, history shows the Czech Republic often delivers when it matters. In the semifinals, Finland has the chance of meeting Sweden, Switzerland or the USA.
