In the first period break in the 5th semifinal against Mullsjö, Storvreta announced a true transfer bomb – the return of Swedish national team Rasmus Sundstedt.
After winning the gold medal with Storvreta in 2016, Rasmus Sundstedt left for Swiss NLA team HC Rychenberg on a 2-year contract. After going out against Wiler-Ersigen in the semifinals just a few days ago, Sundstedt will now return to the SSL and Storvreta. The contract has a length of 2 years with an option for 1 additional year.
The 29-year old is considered to be one of the world’s best players. He can be found on both the defender position and as a forward, and has a shot not many players can match. Since his WFC debut in 2010, he’s been a given player for the Swedish national team coaches.
