Tigers Langnau made it to the semifinals of the Swiss playoffs after beating Rychenberg-Winterthur for the fourth time in this best-of-7 series.

The first two games were already won by the Tigers (of which one in overtime), who finished at 7th place in the competition phase. Rychenberg (2nd) won the third game in overtime, but was still 2-1 behind in the series.

During the fourth game Tigers Langnau had the home advantage again, which they also had in game 2 (9-4). After p1 the score was just 1-1, but Tigers started scoring after that – five more times. Rychenberg only found the net once, thus losing 6-2.

In Rychenberg’s last game they took a 4-1 lead, but Langnau fought themselves back to 4-5. After 6-6 the game went into overtime – again, as all Rychenberg’s home games did – and just like in the first game it was Tigers to score the winning goal: 6-7. The series was won 4-1 and Tigers Langnau move up to the semifinals.
