As we’re approaching the new season, the schedule gets packed with friendly matches and a little bit more serious tournaments. Most elite clubs eagerly make use of these games to prepare themselves for the upcoming season, whether it’s to assess individual players or to form strong lines.
This weekend 8 teams will compete against each other during the Uppsala Floorball Challenge. The tournament is the unofficial inauguration of the brand new Uppsala hall the IFU Arena where Storvreta, Sirius and FBC Uppsala will play their home games from next season onward. Both male and female categories are filled with 4 teams who immediately start with a semi-finals on Friday and a finals (and finals for 3rd place) on Saturday.
This tournament is a great opportunity to see stars as Anna Wijk, Alexander Rudd, Rasmus Sundstedt, Eemeli Salin and many others compete for a first price in the first ever Uppsala Floorball Challenge.
