Just a couple of days before the World Floorball Championships 2018 Qualifiers begin, Alexander Galante Carlström and Omar Aldeeb have pulled back due to an injury. Their replacements have now been announced.

As confirmed on the Swedish Floorball Federation’s Twitter, Falun’s star-duo will be replaced by Jonathan Nilsson and Gustav Fritzell, who both made their national team debut in November.

FC Helsingborg’s 1995-born star Jonathan Nilsson is currently at the 16th place in the SSL scoring league with 38 points (24+14) scored in 25 games. He did his first appearance for Sweden in the Euro Floorball Tour back in November.

Gustav Fritzell, 2 years older than Nilsson, has had a complete break-out season 2017/18 with already 49 points scored – 11 more than he did last season in total. He’s Linköping’s best scorer and the 4th best in the league.
