The WFCQ has ended after a week of intense battles! Slovakia qualified directly but which 15 countries take the remaining spots?
There were no less than 31 teams that registered for the WFC2017 – all wanting that spot for world’s most prestigious floorball touranment. However, with only 15 spots to share some teams had to be disappointed. This year’s WFCQ was played in Madrid (Spain) and Celano (Italy) for Europe, Wellington (New Zealand) for Asia & Oceania (AOFC), and Markham (Canada) for the Americas.
The AOFC teams were known first. It was Japan that had the honor of being the first qualifier for the WFC2017. Soon Australia, Singapore and Thailand followed in the tournament that featured teams from 9 countries. These teams are:
In the European qualifiers another 20 teams took part with 10 tickets to Bratislava at stake. The qualified teams are:

In the American qualifier Canada and USA battled for a place in the WFC2017. USA won the first match who kicked the ball to Canada. In the second game it was all or nothing for Canada but the game ended in a draw. That means the USA is the last team to qualify on this list!
