Friday evening’s game between Jönköping and Pixbo had a least to say intense ending to the game, with the home team barely coming out on top 6-5.

The game between Jönköping and Pixbo ended up being a truly nailbiting experience for everyone involved. With 1 goal down and a 6v4 advantage with 1 minute left, Pixbo gave it all to score the late equalizer. With 5 seconds left Martin Östholm fired a shot from far away, and Andreas Stefansson was there on the rebound with a close attempt to score but hit the post instead.

Even though it happened in the final second of the game, it wouldn’t end up being the last chance for Pixbo, as a Jönköping’s defender Filip Åkerblom had a foot in the goalkeeper area, which resulted in a penalty. Andreas Stefansson, who had a great game so far with 3 goals scored, stepped up to take the penalty. With his long reach, he managed to lure the goalkeeper to get an open net – but once again he hit the post. This to the joy of the Jönköping players who stormed the field as they’d as underdogs taken 3 points against Pixbo.
