According to a local news paper, a Swiss star duo containing of Tim Braillard and Manuel Maurer has been to a visit in Northern Sweden and SSL team IBK Dalen.

Despite signing 2 Swiss last summer that both failed to produce, Dalen seemingly still believes in the country’s talent. This time their eyes are on Alligator Malans’ Tim Braillard, who became NLA’s MVP season 2016/17. The second player is Manuel Maurer, currently belonging to Floorball Köniz. Both of them are established national team players, and would definitely be an interesting addition to Dalen.

Ahead of last season IBK Dalen announced 2 Swiss signings in Nico Scalvinoni and Simon Flühmann, a couple of well respected players in Switzerland. Scalvinoni had produced over 500 points in Swiss NLA since his debut in 2005, and Flühmann won the scoring league with his impressive 60 points the season before joining Dalen. However none of the players seemed to thrive in SSL – Flühmann left in November after scoring just 1 assist in 12 games, and Scalvinoni followed when the season was over, after struggling with injuries and only having scored 4 points.

Despite the fact that the SSL premiere is roughly a month away, Dalen could still add the duo to the team.”Of course we are interested in these two, no doubt about it”, club Director Urban Karlsson says to vk.se.
