Mikael Karlsson, a Swedish international who played in the Swiss NLA for Kloten Jets, is being prosecuted for alleged violation of anti-doping results after testing positive for cocaine.
In a doping test after an NLA game in early October, former player of Kloten Jets, Mikael Karlsson, tested positive for cocaine. The Swiss Olympic’s Disciplinary Chamber for Doping Cases opened a case against the Swede, who just 2 years ago played the SSL finals against Storvreta with Linköping, which was followed by a provisional ban. Shortly after, the contract between Kloten Jets and Karlsson was dissolved after which the former Swedish international returned to his home country. The opening of the B sample, which offers the chance for a second opinion, was not requested by the player.
