Right before the transfer window is closed, IBK Dalen got itself a ‘new’ player: Jim Johansson.
Top scorer of the Swedish Division 2 Jim Johansson returns to IBK Dalen. He has been playing at Dalen last season as well, but decided to step down and start playing at Obbola IK. Johansson spoke to Aftonbladet about his 14 games at Obbola – in which he scored 103 (62+41) points: “It’s a big difference to SSL, but I’m playing in a terrific team. It’s been okay. At the same time, I have missed the pulse in SSL, it will be fun to play there again.”
Dalen is currently at 8th place in the ranking and needs to stay there in order to make it to the playoffs. For that, they can use Johansson’s goal-scoring skills. Johansson: “I’m probably not the biggest playmaker, but I can shoot and score, that’s my strong side. I hope to contribute some goals.”
IBK Dalen’s next game is at February 11th against current #5 Linköping.
