Preview Czech Superliga Round 5: Sparta Praha’s hunt for first points might be Mission Impossible

In the Czech Superliga one might expect to see an easy game on Saturday for Vítkovice. However, will this really be the case? And if so, can Tatran win on Sunday to keep up with them? This and more in our preview of the Czech Superliga Round 5!

Highlighted games

1. SC Vítkovice – Sparta Praha
Saturday 8 October 17:00 – Stream

Vítkovice has won their all matches and now they are going for their fifth win in a row. However, Sparta desperately needs its first points, so they will really fight for it in this game. Vítkovice not only has a great team, they also have two man in the ranking of top scorers (1. Lukáš Hájek: 10 points; 4. Josef Rýpar: 9 points). Sparta has nothing to loose and they have to go for their first point if they don’t want to stay at the bottom of the table.

Tatran Střešovice – Bulldogs Brno
Sunday 9 October 17:30 – Stream

If Tatran wants to keep up in the table with Vítkovice, they have to take points from this game and it will be quite difficult for them. Brno is looking for improvement after their big loss against Vítkovice (4-10) last round, but it is Tatran who has the good statistics at the moment: they received the fewest goals and scored the second highest number of goals in the league. Do you think that Brno is strong enough to stop Tatran in their winning streak? We will see…
