Mlada Boleslav is the Czech national champion after defeating Vitkovice in the Czech Superfinals. The game was won 6-5 after overtime.

The match started with an eventful first period in which no less than 5 goals fell. Martin Tokos opened the score for Vitkovice but the score was soon equalized with a goal by Jan Natov. Vitkovice took the lead in powerplay (Josef Rýpar) and increased through a goal of Jan Šebesta to place 1-3 on the scoreboard. However, before the period ended Jan Jelínek was able to reduce the gap to 2-3. Slowly Mlada Boleslav took a grip on the game. Petr Kolos equalized the score in the second period. The lead was finally taken halfway the final period when 8.191 spectators saw Milan Tomasik turn around his opponent and placed the ball carefully behind the goalkeeper to bring a 4-3 score for Boleslav. Desperate for the equalizer, Vitkovice pulled their goalkeeper but it was instead Mlada Boleslav to score an empty net goal. A powerplay for Vitkovice followed, however, and it only took a couple of seconds before the team scored the 5-4 with a backhand goal from Martin Tokos. Seconds later, he scored his fifth goal of the day and equalized when his shot was luckily deflected into the goal by his opponent’s defense (officially, it was an own goal). In overtime, the game went on for like 8 minutes before Milan Tomasik found the winning goal for his team Florbal MB.
