After a calm period due to the EFT, the SSL kicks it up a notch again. Today and tomorrow, some great matches will be played!
Linköping – Storvreta (Wednesday 15 November, 18.30)
Powerhouse Storvreta meets an opponent of high caliber: Linköping. Storvreta is having an excellent streak and hasn’t lost a single game in regular time yet showing that they successfully incorporated their new players into the team. Linköping, currently ranked 5th, has had some mixed results lately, exchanging wins and losses after one another. This match has great potential and things won’t be easy for Storvreta!
Pixbo – Falun (Wednesday 15 November, 19.00)
One of the season’s bigger surprises is the fact that Pixbo is doing so well. They still have a good list of names but many feared the season’s strong competition would mean the team would earn a low play-off spot – at best. Although the season is still young, a 4th place for the team is very impressive! Today, the team meets current champion Falun and will be a good test for the team. A good result means the team will definitely be a title contender!
Helsingborg – Dalen (Thursday 17 November, 18.30)
The only game on Tuesday is an important game for both teams. Helsingborg and Dalen have had a slightly disappointing start to the season and are currently ranked 7th and 9th, respectively. The teamsare sharing each other’s waterways which will turn more problematic as the season progresses. With a limited amount of playoff spots, the points taken from this match can be crucial when the spots are handed out.
