With a 9-0 victory over Salems, FBC Kalmarsund is just one crucial match away from reaching the SSL. On Saturday we will know whether Kim Nilsson will play in the SSL next year or if we have to wait at least another year.

After losing with 1-8 against Salems IF in the first best-of-3 qualification series, Kalmarsund found themselves with a knife on their throat. Losing the second game would mean an immediate end to the SSL aspirations for at least a year. Fortunately, Kim Nilsson, who had been invisible in the first match, found his vibe and played a crucial role in the victory with 4 points (1 goals + 3 assists).

The final deciding match will be played this Saturday 7 April at 15.00 CET. Roughly two hours later we will know if Kim Nilsson is going to play in the SSL for season 2018/2019.
