Japan has claimed the 15th place at the World Floorball Championships 2018 after defeating their Asian rival Singapore. The final score became 2-4 after Japan’s captain Ichiro Ueda found the final goal in an open net.

Singapore opened up strong by taking a 1-0 lead after 4 minutes. However, Japan replied not only by equalizing, but also putting themselves in the lead, which they held on to for the rest of the game.

The teams played each other already the group stage. Singapore ended up winning the game 9-5, but just like this one, it was a close affair through the majority of the game.
