Miro Lehtinen, the 28-year-old Finnish striker from Classic will play in Switzerland next year. SV Wiler-Ersigen, who finished second in the previous season after Köniz, signed the forward for one year plus an option for more seasons.
SV Wiler-Ersigen has welcomed a strong addition to their line-up: the 28-year-old tall striker (190cm) Miro Lehtinen will make the move from the Finnish champion Classic to SV Wiler-Ersigen. The allround forward played a big portion of his career for Koovee before making the transfer to city rivals Classic in 2016.
SV Wiler-Ersigen sports director Marcel Siegenthaler: “Due to three rather unexpected departures, which became known only after the end of the season, the board and the sporting leadership have re-analyzed the situation and have come to the decision that we have a lot of talent in the current squad, but also a lot of uncertainty, especially since Daniel Johnsson has been injured since the Superfinal and we can not estimate when he will come back. In order to underpin the high sporting ambitions, we have therefore decided to strengthen the squad. At this late stage, there was nothing left for us on the national transfer market and so we looked around internationally. With Lehtinen we have now found the player we hope can help us the most in the current situation, because he has variable uses. “Lehtinen signs for a season with the option of extra time.
