Injury puts a halt to Kim Nilsson’s preseason – Needs surgery

Kalmarsund’s Kim Nilsson – who was about to play together with Peter Kotilainen – has a knee injury, which brings troubles to his preseason.

Kalmarsund made it to the SSL last season after a close promotion duel against Salems IF. Superstar Nilsson is one of the most important players for the team, but he recently got a right knee injury (which made him miss the Euro Floorball Tour).

“It’s a crack in the meniscus. The operation will be carried out in Gothenburg on June 18. There will be four to five weeks of rehab after that”, says Kim Nilsson to the Swedish Barometern.

As said, it’s the meniscus that requires surgery. Kalmarsund’s first game of the SSL will be played on September 18, so Nilsson should be up and running by that time again.
