IKSU several sizes too big for KAIS Mora – qualifies for finals Uppsala Floorball Challenge

The first game in the Uppsala Floorball Challenge featured Swedish female SSL teams IKSU and Kais Mora and ended up in an easy victory for a strong-performing IKSU.

The game started as a typical preseason match. With many new players both teams took the opportunity to experiment with line-ups and players. As if they wanted to prove something to their coach, players of both teams started eager and filled with spirit. This resulted in a dynamic first period which shone at times, but was mostly hindered by sloppy passing and miscommunications. Both sides gave room to the opponent and it was IKSU that ended the period with a 3-1 lead. In the remainder of the match IKSU kept pressuring the KAIS Mora goal and scored many times. They didn’t give away the lead they’ve created, despite the two goals KAIS Mora made, making the final score 3-9.

The Uppsala Floorball Challenge is hosted on 19 and 20 August 2016 in the new IFU arena. Find all information and access to streams on FloorballToday.
