How to watch Finland – Sweden live (today at 16:00)

Today at 16:00 CET, a practice game between Finland and Sweden will be played in Espoo (Finland).

The Finnish Ruutu broadcasts the game, which can be watched here.

Usually, a monthly fee of € 9,95 needs to be paid. However, if you terminate the subscription right away, Ruutu won’t charge anything (is what they state at the home screen), but you do need to have a credit card. Here’s how it works:

  1. Click on the link at the top, which sends you to a page where you can click ‘KOKEILE KUUKAUSI MAKSUTTA’, which means Try a month for free. In the next page, you click on ‘LUO SANOMA-TILI‘, which can be found at the bottom of the page.
  2. On the next page, you make an account by filling in name, surname, email address, phone number (make something up with 0358-, how Finnish numbers start), password and check the first box before you continue. On the next page, click on register. You’ll get an email where you can click on the link and verify your account.
  3. Now, you can log in on the live stream, but: now you have to fill in your credit card details. If you only want to watch this game, make sure to cancel your subscription directly after again.

Furthermore, you also must disable any kind of adblockers you might use. If you don’t, you will get an error message in Finnish.

The roster of the Swedish team can be found here, although some minor changes have been made. Albin Sjögren and Alexander Galante Carlström have been replaced by Johannes Wilhelmsson and Gustav Fritzell.

If the stream isn’t working, you might need to try a VPN, for which we recommend PureVPN.
