In a thrilling finals Grasshoppers Zürich took the Swiss title with a score of 10-8 versus Floorball Köniz! No less than 18 goals were needed to decide which team was to take the gold medals, but in the end Köniz had to go home with a silver medal. A 5 consecutive goal blow was the deciding factor in the game Despite a 4-1 dreamstart for Köniz the game went back and forth and it rained goals. When the dust settled it was the team of Kim Nilsson that remained!
On the female side Piranha Chur took the gold medal after a very tight and even match versus Dietlikon. The score was 4-4 after 3 periods and with a goalless extra time that meant penalties! It took 15 penalties to decide the winner.
