In what will be remembered as the Alexander Galante Calström show, Falun secured a spot in the final of the Czech Open after beating Chodov 10-1.

Chodov knew they would have a hard time against the runner-up of the SSL. Only two minutes in and Rasmus Enström opened the score. Falun was a couple of sizes too big and three more goals followed, through Galante Carlström, Hallén and Backby. The second period ‘only’ saw two goals: Galante and Johansson scored 5-0 and 6-0.

Chodov knew the semifinal was their end station. The team received three 2-min penalties in the last period and every time, Falun monetized this chance. ACG scored a hattrick this period, while scored his second. In between, Vávra saved the honor for Chodov by scoring their one and only goal. The final score was 10-1, bringing Falun to tomorrow’s final against Pixbo (starting at 16.00h).
