Fantastic Finland becomes world champion – Recap final day WFC 2016

The WFC is over and Finland has become WORLD CHAMPION! Here’s a summary of the day!

Day 9 – Sunday 11 December
What a day this was, full of exciting and close games! It started off with the battle for seventh place, won by Germany: 4-5! After that Denmark won its battle for fifth place, but only after overtime and penalty shots! The bronze final was won by Switzerland after defeating Czech Republic: 5-8. Of course the most important game of the tournament (wait – of the YEAR!) was the final, won by Finland after taking the penalty shots better than Sweden: 4-3! What a day, what a tournament!
