SSL newcomers Lindås can breathe relieved. One of their star players will stay in the team as it enters the Swedish Superleague in next season.
Patrik Malmström extends his contract with Lindås. The sniper, who won the SSL point league in 2013/2014 with Pixbo, initially moved down to the Allsvenskan because he lacked the motivation to play in world’s best league. The 28-year old, who scored 50 points in the last season (27+23) in the Allsvenskan, has decided it’s time to move back to world’s most prestigious floorball league.
Patrik Malmström: “It was a difficult decision because I only left SSL for one year”
Patrik Malmström has an impressive track record. He started his professional career with Falun before moving to Pixbo in the 2011/2012 season. Only two seasons later he won the SSL point league with 78 points in 36 games. In the meanwhile, he played many games for the Swedish national teams including the 2012 WFC in which he gathered as many as 17 points in just 6 matches.
