One of Czech Republic’s most interesting talents, 16 year old Filip Langer, who’ve despite his age already gotten a chance in the men’s national team, has been signed by Pixbo Wallenstam. The transfer is registered to their division 1 team, but he’ll be able to play in SSL as well.
Last year Pixbo Wallenstam announced their cooperation with Czech Superliga team Tatran Stresovice. Shortly after the announcement, they got another couple of Czech future promises, Marek Beneš and Ondřej Němeček who joined the team on a 6 week period. Both players got to participate in SSL games and managed to score 3+1 respectively 1+0 during their time.
The so far successful cooperation with Czech Republic continues, and Czech floorball site florbal.cz reports that 16 year old Filip Langer is next up for a trip to Sweden.
The 2001-born talent did his national team debut in November’s Euro Floorball Tour. So far he’s done 6 appearances and produced 4 points. He was also in the Czech team at the U19 WFC which was held in May, where he scored 9 points (8+1) in 5 games.
