The World Games 2017 is starting in just a couple of days. FloorballToday gives a brief overview of every team.
27 July – Finland – Czech Republic
28 July – Czech Republic– Poland
How far will the Czech Republic go?
The Czech Republic has entered a very important era in their development. With the prestigious WFC2018 being held in Prague, a golden talented generation in its ranks, days have long gone where the team was known only for its defensive capabilities. That being said, the build-up towards the WFC2016 has been a bumpy ride so far. With a disappointing (close) loss in the semifinals of the WFC2016 against Finland the team just missed the finals and a substandard Euro Floorball Tour performance (3 losses). Now the next moment of measurement has come and it’s an amazingly important one. It is likely the team will go through the semi finals but the match against Finland will be an important one. There it will meet either Sweden, Switzerland or the USA. The Czech Republic is a dangerous outsider, ready to prove their capabilities in the most important tournament of the decade.
3 players to watch

- Matej Jendrisak – Voted best Czech player on many occasions this physical center is a continuous threat to his opponents.
- Milan Tomasik – One of the few Czech players with experience in Sweden. Returns to the Czech Republic for next season.
