BREAKING: Jan Zaugg moves to Sweden – will play for Mullsjö AIS

Swiss international Jan Zaugg has made the move to the SSL where he will play for Swedish top club Mullsjö AIS. The 21-year-old super talent will join his fellow countryman Tim Braillard for the 19/20 season.

Floorball Köniz announced the transfer earlier today on their website. The young forward has a long history with Köniz dating back to 2005 and made his first NLA appearance in the 2014/2015 season. Making his first appearance for the Swiss U19 national team in 2014 and joining the senior team in 2017, the talented play maker has shown a steep curve which has resulted in a transfer to the most prestigious floorball league in the world.

Zaugg signed a 1-year contract with the option for a second season and plans to return to Köniz after his Swedish expedition.

Zaugg: “I do not know when I will get another chance like this and I would like to try in the best league in the world. The timing is right for me and I’m looking forward to seeing what will happen.”
