SSL team AIK Innebandy is in a crisis, and currently finds themselves on a relegation spot in the table. They’ve now taken action and decided to sack their head coach Magnus Jäderlund.
With 7 rounds left and a tough schedule ahead of them, Stockholm team AIK are in the least to say tough position. They’re at the 2nd last place in the table on 22 points, 4 points behind Örebro at the 12th place.
Ahead of season 2016/17 the team went through big changes, where they replaced a majority of their roster. They also added Magnus Jäderlund, who’d been a coach at Djurgården, Storvreta and Täby before joining the team. However, his time at AIK has now come to an end.
The replacement for Jäderlund is Mikael Lemker from Bele Barkarby IBF in the Swedish Division 1 (2 leagues below SSL).
”We’d like to thank Magnus Jäderlund for his contribution as head coach during the last 2 seasons where he’s managed to pick up and develop young talents in AIK and we wish him luck in the future”, Richard Markstedt says in a press release.
