It will be another year in Happee for Peter Kotilainen. The Finnish superstar and the losing finalists agreed on one more year, according to Finnish newspaper Keskisuomalainen.
At the end of the season, it became clear that 23-year old Peter Kotilainen was looking to play abroad. However, after failed negotiations with FBC Kalmarsund, one of the two SSL newcomers, the Finnish super forward decided to stay loyal to his club and play there for another year. With Happee, the Finnish forward will be looking to catch his first Finnish gold medal to add to the 3 silver and 1 bronze currently occupying his trophy cabinet.
Peter Kotilainen rose to fame with a spectacular input in the WFC2016 where he won the tournament’s MVP award with most points in the point league (10+6). With two goals in the finals against Sweden, the star played a huge role in which his team defeated Sweden after overtime penalties.
